Each gram gel contains Diclofenac Diethylamine BP equivalent to Diclofenac Sodium 10 mg.
Diclofenac Diethylamine is systemically absorbed throug h the skin; it inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase, thus reducing the formation of PGE2. Moreover, it also increases the uptake of arachidonic acid into the cellular pool. Menthol is a vasodilator. It dilates the blood vessels, produces a feeling of coolness and produces analgesia. Methyl saliCylate is a known anti-inflammatory agent.
Indicated for the quiCk relief from pain, swelling and inflammation due to musculo-skeletal disorders such as sprains, strains, tendinitis, bursitis, hand, neck & shoulder pain, sciatica, muscle stiffness, joint pain, back ache and lumbago.
Approximately a thin layer of gel should be applied to the affected site three to four times daily with rubbing till the film disappears
Known hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days. Keep out of the reach of children. If mistakenly swallowed, get medical or contact a poison control center right away.

The safety of Diclofenac Sodium Gel has not been established during pregnancy. There are no well-controlled studies of Diclofenac Sodium Gel in breastfeeding women
