Visceral tablet: Each film-coated tablet contains Tiemonium methylsulphate 50 mg.
Visceral IV/IM Injection: Each 2ml contains Tiemonium Methylsulphate 5mg.
Visceral (Tiemonium methylsulphate) is a synthetic anticholinergic-antispasmodic drug. Tiemonium methylsulphate is a quaternary ammonium antimuscarinic agent with peripheral effect similar to those of atropine. Tiemonium methylsulphate strengthens calcium bonding with phospholipids and proteins thus stabilizing the cell membrane of the GI tract.
Visceral is an antispasmodic drug. It reduces muscle spasms of the intestine, biliary system, urinary bladder & uterus. Visceral® is indicated for the pain in gastrointestinal, biliary, urinary and gynaecological diseases such as gastroenteritis, diarrhoea, dysentery, biliary colic, enterocolitis, cholecystitis, colonopathies, mild cystitis & spasmodic dysmenorrhoea.
Tablet: The usual dosages of Visceral (Tiemonium methylsulphate) 2 to 6 tablets (100-300 mg) daily in divided doses as required. Injection: 1 ampoule by slow IV/IM injection 3 times daily.
Tiemonium methylsulphate should not be used in glaucoma (acute pain of eyeball with vision disturbance). Also this drug should not be used in patients with the difficulties in urinating (disorders of the prostate or urinary bladder).
Cautions should be taken for the treatment of patient with disorders of the prostate. Cautions should also be taken in case of chronic bronchitis ,coronary insufficiency, ambient hyperthermia, renal and hepatic insufficiency. The risk of visual disturbances can make it dangerous to drive or use machines
Tiemonium methylsulphate may have some undesirable effects in certain individuals like risk of hypotension and tachycardia especially in case of injection.
Avoid taking this drug without medical advice during pregnancy or breast-feeding.

Store in a cool (below 30° C) & dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
Visceral Tablet: Each box contains 30 (3x10's) tablets in blister pack.
Visceral IV/IM Injection: Each box contains 10 (2x5’s) ampoules of 2ml.
