Luliconazole is a broad-spectrum azole antifungal that acts by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol demethylase and blocks ergosterol synthesis which is an important component of fungal cell membrane. Thus, it exerts strong fungicidal activity both in-vitro and in-vivo against dermatophytes, Candida albicans, Malassezia spp., Trichophyton & Epidermophyton spp.

Luliconazole is indicated for the topical treatment of interdigital Tinea pedis, Tinea cruris, and Tinea corporis caused by the organisms Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum.

Interdigital Tinea Pedis: Luly Cream should be applied to the affected and immediate surrounding area once a day for two weeks. Tinea Cruris and Tinea Corporis: Luly Cream should be applied to the affected skin and immediate surrounding area once a day for one week.

None.

Luliconazole is recommended for topical use only. It is not intended for ophthalmic, oral or intravaginal use.

Contact dermatitis and cellulitis may occur. Application site reactions were observed in less than 1% of subjects in clinical trial.

Pregnancy: Pregnancy category C. There are no adequate and well controlled studies in pregnant women, Luliconazole should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
